Yesterday was a great day. A lot of us, inspired by the young Greta Thunberg, decided to skip school in order to take part in the Global Climate Strike.
The strike is a branch of the #FridayForFuture movement which began with Greta, the Swedish young activist who started skipping school on Fridays to protest in front of the Parliament House of her Country. It was on August 20, last year, when this girl started her lonely protest with a hand painted sign saying Skolstrejk för klimatet.
Yesterday hundreds of thousands of students from more than 100 countries walked out of their classroom to join this movement. This is a first step to change something. Now the next revolution starts with us in our daily life. So, we really would be glad if you would say in a comment what could you do in order to reduce the contamination. Which would be your simple daily measures? Share them with us.
Meanwhile we let you a video telling the beautiful history of a young Indian lawyer, Afroz Shah, who started alone a beach clean-up project.
