STRANGER THAN KINDNESS is a book that revolves around Nick Cave’s life. It’s a collection of photographs, from the artist’s life, notebook pages, first drafts of lyrics, essays on Cave’s work, among other findings in the archive. I highly recommend this book, firstly to those who are interested in Nick Cave’s music and wonder about what leads to it. Secondly, I believe this is a good book for all of those interested in art in general, and artistic processes in specific, as this is quite an amazing report on the process of one of the greatest music artists alive.
STRANGER THAN KINDNESS es un libro que gira en torno a la vida de Nick Cave. Es una colección de fotografías, de la vida del artista, páginas de cuadernos, primeros borradores de letras, ensayos sobre la obra de Cave, entre otros hallazgos del archivo. Recomiendo insistentemente este libro, en primer lugar, a quienes se interesen por la música de Nick Cave y se pregunten por lo que lleva a ella. En segundo lugar, creo que es un buen libro para todos aquellos interesados en el arte en general, y en los procesos artísticos en particular, ya que se trata de un informe bastante sorprendente sobre el proceso de uno de los mayores artistas musicales vivos.
